POLAROID
For the release of Polaroid’s iconic I-2 instant camera, MANJU Studio collaborated closely with the brand to celebrate the launch by expanding the product into a commissioned, physical storytelling project led by creatives from our network.
We commissioned three African photographers from our global community to produce new bodies of work around the theme Imperfectionism, capturing genuine, everyday moments as intimate and unfolding narratives.
From the streets of Lagos to the vibrant scenes of Accra and London, the photographers document the wonders of nature, the intimacy of friendship, the allure of nostalgia, and the power of love, each story told through the lens of the Polaroid I-2 camera.
Commissioned Artists : Sackitey Tesa Mate-Kodjo, Adeolu Osibodu & Rachel Seidu
Rooted in the beauty of imperfection, the project evokes emotion and forges meaningful connections, celebrating photography as an honest and human act of storytelling.
